Photo-voltaic (PV) solar panels convert sunlight to electricity. Panel technology varies greatly in cost, performance and application.

Solar Panels 

 Solstice drives highest performance and lowest cost by using the right panel for each job. Our design team's analysis determines the best ROI and overall fit for commercial, government and residential jobs.

Highest efficiency panels allow Solstice to provide maximum power per square foot, such as needed in a high-rise building. Multi-story buildings use more power, but have limited roof space. Solstice drives panel technology by partnering with key manufacturer's and through our R&D alliances. 

THIN FILM Kaneka thin film panels allow higher performance AND lower cost for most applications. Second generation production techniques allow PV material to be deposited without the high cost associated with semiconductor wafer processing.

Advantages of thin film panels: 

  • Operate more efficiently at high temp; sun shining
  • Deliver more power under low light or shading
  • Lower cost per Watt saves money
  • Waste a lot less energy to produce 

Silicon wafer (first generation) panels deliver highest efficiency and are the right choice in many applications. Solstice works with every customer to decide which technologies match specific needs on a case-by-case basis.
